The epitome of coastal charm and serenity, the Maritime tiles feature nautical nuances with a nod to tradition. 

Sailboats at sea with traditional Chinese characters form the craks, and a lovely assortment of seashells comprise the dots. For the bams, sea oats blow in the breeze near an iconic lighthouse.. with a seagull resting atop a woodpile for the one bam.

While lobsters represent the red and green dragon tiles, a nautical rope and sea shell frame forms the soap. Antique oyster plates serve as numbered flower tiles and an array of sea creatures make a splash for the winds! Of all the details in this special set, the fishing hook "J" in the Joker tiles is my favorite! 

Contents: Each set comes complete with 160 engraved tiles, a pair of clear dice in a drawstring pouch, and an instructional guide safely packed inside a magnetic closure box.

Dimensions: Our tiles mirror traditional Mahjong tiles in size to allow detailed artwork and visibility during gameplay.

Each tile measures approximately 1 x 1 7/16 x 7/16 inches.

Materials: Our durable tiles are tiny works of art that we hope make you smile game after game.

Created from two layers of acrylic, the tiles are cut by hand before the layers are carefully bonded together and allowed to thoroughly dry. Polishing takes place to smooth the tiles and give them a lovely finish and feel. While a machine assists in engraving each piece, the fine details are painted by hand with custom oils.

Slight variations and small scratches may occur and are an inherent quality of acrylic tiles that have been hand-designed and polished; both aspects add an intriguing element to these special pieces.
